Last updated: October 30, 2026 · The GigOps messaging program, operated by GigOps Inc.
GigOps is operations software for live events. Companies that run tours, festivals, venues and action sports events use it to coordinate their crew, athletes, acts and guests. When a ride, a call time or a schedule changes, GigOps texts the people it affects. This page describes those messages: what they are, how you come to receive them, and how to stop them.
GigOps is the sender. Every message described here is sent by GigOps Inc. from GigOps' own number. A company that uses GigOps does not send text messages through us and cannot send you anything of its own: activity on its event is what causes a message, and GigOps is who sends it. Consent you give at the screens below is consent for GigOps to text you, and no one else.
These messages are operational, not marketing. GigOps does not send promotional, advertising or marketing texts, and we do not sell, rent or share your mobile number with anyone for their own marketing.
| Message | When you get it | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Ride and transport notices | When a car or a shuttle is booked for you in GigOps, and whenever that pickup changes | "Your 14:30 pickup from the Hilton is now 14:50. Driver: Dave, silver Sprinter." |
| Show and call-time alerts | When the call times or schedule change on an event you are working | "Production: load-in moves to 07:00. Bus call 06:30 at the hotel." |
| Curfew warnings | When a show is approaching the venue's curfew | "Curfew in 15 minutes at The Fillmore." |
| One-time signing codes | Only when you ask to sign a document with GigOps Sign and choose to get the code by text | "483912 is your GigOps Sign code. It works for 10 minutes." |
You opt in by giving us your mobile number. That happens in one of these places:
Giving your number is optional in every case. Nothing about your account, your schedule, your badge or your pay depends on it, and you can clear it later under My details.
Wherever you type a mobile number into GigOps, this appears with the field:
Giving your mobile number means GigOps may text you about your rides, call times, show alerts and signing codes. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop, HELP for help. See our Terms and Privacy Policy.
Message frequency varies. It depends on the event you are working and on how much changes on it: a quiet week may bring none, a travel day several. Message and data rates may apply. GigOps charges you nothing to receive a text; your mobile carrier may charge you under your own plan.
Reply STOP to any message. Texts to that number stop, and you get one confirmation that they have. Reply HELP for help, or write to hello@gigops.ai.
You can also clear your mobile number under My details in GigOps or GigOps Crew, or ask the company you are working with to remove it. Stopping texts does not close your account and does not stop email, push or in-app notifications, which carry the same information.
To start again after a STOP, reply START to the same number, or put your mobile number back under My details.
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers may change.
To send a text we pass the recipient's phone number and the message text to Twilio, our SMS provider, and nothing else. Our Privacy Policy sets out what we collect, how long we keep it and your rights over it. Our Terms of Service cover the messaging program at section 5E.
